Vô cùng thương tiếc Tiến sĩ NGUYỄN THANH GIANG
|
Cầu cho hương hồn Ông an nghỉ.

Attention: Doctor TORSEN WIESEL

Dear Sir!
This letter is first aimed at reminding the noble act from you in your letter to Mr. Tran Duc Luong, the then President of Socialist State of Vietnam, that showed your concern about my political situation. I was then jailed by anti-democratization forces in May 1999. Thanks to your letter, i have got my liberty. I never forget this wonderful act.
Then come the next bad thing to me eight years ago. My left eye became completely blind after changing the cataract. The medical doctor who operated my eye is the Dean of the Faculty of Ophtalmology of the Vietnam-Soviet Hospital. Many people thought that my eye accident was not due to technical matters, but political's. The anti-democratization of my country.

Since the time i became blind, i was actually discarded from the political life - the fight for Democracy and Human Rights for Vietnam which still are very long. My fighting way is still unachieved - I personally only completed more than ten thousands pages for that fighting - now with my blind eyes, i cannot neither read nor write anymore. I cannot use the internet to exchange with friends and colleagues a lot of matters that concerned us politically and professionnally.
I would like to send you here the entire papers related to my eyes so that you could helf me re-sending them to the Ophtalmological Center of the Columbus University in Ohio or whatany else ophtalmological centes in the hope to have my treatment over there.
I am waiting with great help from these centers i can recover my view so that i can continue my fight for Democracy and Human Rights in my country.
Again and again i would like to show my reconnaissance from myself and from my friends as well to you, dear Sir.
All the best to you, dear doctor.
All the best to you, dear doctor.
Yours friendly,
NGUYEN THANH GIANG
